About Me

Engineer by Trade, Explorer by hobby.

Photography began as a quiet hobby for a super-shy human trying to understand and express the world through a camera, one shutter at a time. Words were never my strength, and the lens became my language.

As a landscape photographer, I spent a long time avoiding portraits. I believed I couldn’t capture human emotion as deeply as I could see, observe, and feel it. I thought my understanding of people was too complex, too incomplete, and that I lacked the words or confidence to express it fully. Ironically, that very lack of words is what drew me to photography in the first place. It became my form of expression when words fell short.

Over time, as my perspective evolved and I met more people, learned their stories, and understood emotions more deeply, the most important people in my life helped me realize something powerful: not to be afraid of my expression. They saw and understood the emotions I was hesitant to portray.

What I eventually discovered was that I wasn’t trying to translate my understanding of someone’s emotions. I was simply capturing their emotions in their most natural, comfortable, and beautiful form.

Here’s to unfolding new expressions, turning a new leaf, and embracing emotion.
